On September 22, invited by the Owner, the delegation led by Haisum's CPC Committee Secretary and Company Chairman Zhao Guoang and Haisum's CPC Committee Deputy Secretary Bian Junyi visited the site of Zhangjiagang Project and attended the Foundation-laying Ceremony of New EPCM Project of Hempel Paint (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd. with features an annual production of 180,000t high-performance paint and 20,000t water-based paint undertaken by the Fifth Design/Engineering Department of the headquarters of the Company. Zheng Wen, the Deputy General Manager of Fifth Design/Engineering Department and personnel in charge of the project team participated in the ceremony.

This project is situated in the Jiangsu Yangtze River International Chemical Industry Park, covering an area of 136,000m2 (around 204mu) with an annual production up to 200,000t. The project has a total investment of about USD 170 million, planned to be completed in March 2022, and put into operation in the second quarter of 2022. After completion, it will take the place of Kunshan factory as the largest factory of Hempel Paint in China.

On the ceremony, Mei Xiaodong, the Vice President of Hempel Paint and President of North Asia delivered a speech. He praised the professional skill and scientific planning of Haisum as the designer of the project, and expressed that Hempel Paint will strengthen its foothold and boost its confidence to "be excellent" in the Chinese market.

In recent years, the five departments of the Company have gained abundant experience in the fine chemistry field and offered professional technical service for PPG, BASF, KAO, Singapore SPP as well as other high-quality clients and large-scale projects, thus gaining widespread evaluations in the market.
